Trade In With Us
A part of what we do as a game store is to take items in trade from our customer base and prepare them for resale. When taking items in trade, we take a variety of things into consideration, and therefore the following policy is less a hard set of rules and more of a general guideline. Factors that may affect the percentage we give on trade’s are condition, age, popularity, if it’s a special edition or printing of an item, and our ability to sell the item in store versus an online platform.
While we offer both store credit and cash for trade-ins, please bear in mind that any offers in store credit will always be significantly more than what we will offer in cash.
Please note that we do not do web appraisals. All items must be brought into one of our two locations.
Trading Card Games
Pricing for Magic cards varies based on the current median value of the card at the time of trade. We offer a scaling percentage from 10% to 60% in store credit based on this value. We will always offer more for format staple cards or extremely rare cards, but will offer less for foils or special printings that might be harder to move. We take bulk at a per pound rate.

Pricing for Yu-Gi-Oh! varies based on the current market value of the card at the time of trade. We offer a scaling percentage from 10% to 50% in store credit based on this value. We will always offer more for format staple cards, but will offer less for special edition printings, collectors rares, or first editions that might be harder to move. We take bulk at a per pound rate.

Pricing for Pokemon cards varies based on the current median value of the card at the time of trade. We offer a scaling percentage from 10% to 50% in store credit based on this value. We will always offer more for format staple cards and standard format playable cards, but will offer less for foils or non standard cards that might be harder to move. We take bulk at a per pound rate.

Other TCG’s have variable pricing and we may or may not currently be taking them in trade. Please reach out to us via our contact form or email to see if we are taking other items in trade before bringing them in. We do not sell or take sports cards.

Trade in price depends on the game, set, and demand for the item. Prices will vary and therefore we cannot guarantee any specific percentage on sealed items.
Comics & Collectables
Pricing will vary depending on the collectability of the item, condition, and our ability to sell the item in shop versus having to list it via an online store. As such, you may expect between 10% to 35% in store credit for any of these items.
Value varies depending on box condition and rarity. All figures must come in their original packaging.We will generally offer between 10% and 50% of PPG or eBay value. More common figures will get a lower price than chase or vaulted figures.
Board Games, RPG Books, and Miniatures
Pricing for Board Games varies based on condition and if the game is complete and playable. We generally offer 25% of the games retail value. Some exceptions apply for Kickstarter or limited edition items.
Pricing varies for RPG books based on condition and game system. We value most books between 10% and 50% of retail value.
